What's Our Why?

We each found our way into mental performance for different reasons, but stayed for the same one, the drive to help each athlete be exceptional. As former athletes ourselves, we know how hard work and determination can be the difference between an average athlete and an exceptional one.

Our passion is helping you find or remember your why. Why do you want to be the best? Why do you compete every day as an athlete? Why do you show up and give it everything you have?

We believe every athlete has the potential to perform at the highest level of competition through being the best on and off the field.

Our Mission

At Prism Mental Performance, we strive to have our clients evolve into mentally aware athletes who will appreciate the value of hard work and mental readiness.

Through a psychoeducational approach, we aspire to collaborate with athletes to develop mental performance strategies that can be applied directly to their life, as they journey through the adversities of sport.

As a previous soccer and track & field athlete, I understand how injury can be a setback when we are in the zone. After recovering from my injury, I found that my mental game was greatly hindered by fear and distraction. I didn’t know how to explain what I was feeling to my coaches and teammates, and my performance became greatly impacted. It was after this experience, I began looking in the field of sport and performance psychology. As a mental performance coach, I can provide you with the skills and strategies to overcome these fears and distractions.

I am passionate about helping athletes see their true potential at reaching their optimal level of performance. When the physical and mental performance are in unison, athletes reach a state of flow when they are fully immersed in the game. I want all athletes to achieve this state, regardless of what level of competition they are at. Let’s work together to develop mental performance strategies that will help you achieve your goal!

As a former collegiate athlete, I understand how defeating it can feel to walk off the field and know your game wasn't completely there. We fall into a negative mental space and think about all the things we should have done better and all the things we're going to do next time to adjust. It all seems so overwhelming when we start contemplating how to adjust our headspace. That's where I come in! As a team, you and I will collaborate and decide what the most important parts of your game are that you want to address, then we start building a plan to strengthen those areas.

My passion is helping athletes achieve the highest level performance on the field while also striving to become a better person off the field. When every part of your life is working together in harmony, each victory you experience will taste even sweeter, knowing you were the one who was responsible for assembling your best performance.
